SHARK RIVER ROW MAY 17th 6pm
The anticipation was palpable as the first race of the season kicked off with ten boats lined up. The crowd held its breath as the signal sounded, unleashing a frenzy of speed and strategy on the water.
Like arrows released from a bow, Healy and Clemens surged ahead, carving through the waves with precision. But as they thundered towards the first turn, the competition was fierce, with the rest of the pack hot on their heels, hungry for victory.
In a breathtaking display of skill and daring, Green and Kipnis made their move, seizing the opportunity to navigate through the tumultuous sea of contenders. With each twist and turn, they danced on the edge of control, their determination shining like a beacon in the spray.
As they approached the second turn, the tension reached a fever pitch, with boats jockeying for position like warriors in a high-stakes battle. But Green and Kipnis refused to be denied, their resolve unyielding as they carved a path towards the open ocean.

SHREWSBURY ROW MAY 24th 6pm
As the boats eagerly gathered beneath the Pourtapeck Bridge, anticipation crackled in the air like electricity. Each Boat poised, every rower brimming with the thrill of competition, eagerly awaiting the resounding horn that would ignite the race.
With a resounding blast, the race commenced, and the water erupted with a symphony of splashes as oars sliced through the currents. The competitors surged forward, propelled by a potent cocktail of determination and excitement, vying for the coveted lead.
Down the river towards Schmidt’s Point, the pelliton remained tightly packed, a vibrant mosaic of colors and motion. Every stroke was a declaration of intent, every maneuver a strategic gambit in the quest for supremacy.
As the pivotal turn approached, the intensity peaked. John Ryan and Trent Hindman surged ahead, their determination carving a path through the water. Yet, hot on their heels, Jack Green and Brenden Kipnis refused to yield, their resolve unyielding.

FITNESS SHOP 10 MILE ROW MAY 31st 7am
Undoubtedly among the most challenging races in the series, the Fitness Shop 10 kicks off from the southernmost beach in Bradley, promising an intense and invigorating competition. As competitors align themselves along the ocean, they’ll embark on a northward journey, threading through the coastal gems of Ocean Grove, Asbury Park, Loch Arbor, and Allenhurst until reaching the pivotal point at Roosevelt Ave. in Deal. A strategic turn around the buoy awaits, marking the onset of a demanding return journey through the bay, ultimately culminating in a triumphant finish back in Bradley Beach. Brace yourself for an epic showcase of endurance and skill, where each stroke propels competitors through a challenging course and towards the pinnacle of aquatic achievement.
MANASQUAN BRIDGE 2 BRIDGE JUNE 14th 6pm(New Date)
With the ebb and flow of the tide taking center stage in this riveting race, competitors eagerly assemble beneath the Rt 35 Bridge. Setting their sights westward, rowers embark on a thrilling journey through the channel, encircling the island before making their way towards the commanding Rt 70 Bridge. The pivotal turn at the bridge heralds the beginning of the open race to the finish, where the dynamic interplay of course intricacies and tidal currents ensures an electrifying and unpredictable conclusion. Brace yourself for an adrenaline-charged spectacle, where strategic prowess and nature’s forces collide, crafting and exhilarating finish that promises to be nothing short of captivating.
SHREWSBURY BRIDGE 2 BRIDGE JUNE 7th 6pm(New Date)
Embark on an exhilarating 5.5-mile journey with the Shrewsbury Bridge to Bridge row, commencing at the picturesque Monmouth Blvd bridge. As rowers set out, they’ll navigate the tranquil waters, reaching the scenic Schmidt’s point, where a graceful right shoulder turn around the first buoy awaits. The route unfolds with mesmerizing views leading to the Seven Bridge Road bridge, inviting rowers to execute another skillful right shoulder turn. The grand finale awaits as rowers glide back with finesse to the Monmouth Blvd bridge, completing a memorable and rewarding rowing experience.
ASBURY PARK BELL BUOY ROW JUNE 21st 6pm
Embark on a journey through history with this iconic rowing event, commencing on the sun-kissed beaches of Asbury Park. Setting the stage with a dry start, competitors will engage in a National Style Start, skillfully navigating the waters toward a strategically placed buoy just beyond the breakers. A masterful left shoulder turn awaits as rowers venture southward to the charming locale of Avon, encountering yet another buoy marking the midway point. With precision and expertise, participants execute a left shoulder turn, commencing their return to Asbury Park. The grand finale unfolds with a triumphant dry finish through the fluttering checkered flags, culminating in a spectacle of achievement on these historic shores.
DEAL LAKE JUNGLE ROW JUNE 29th 6pm
Embark on a thrilling challenge with one of our ancient races—the Jungle Row—a true testament to skill and endurance. Spanning a half-mile sprint from the majestic Ocean to the iconic Train Bridge, participants navigate this demanding course single file. As they venture into the secluded back section, two strategically placed buoys await, challenging competitors to showcase their agility and precision. Upon rounding the second buoy, the race intensifies, culminating in a fierce sprint back to the Ocean, where the true victors emerge.
SPRING LAKE PAVILLION 2 PAVILLION ROW JULY 12th 6pm
Experience the swift excitement of our shortest race in the series, featuring a Dry National Style start. As competitors gather along the surf, anticipation builds until the starter’s signal releases them into action. With the resounding whistle, the race kicks off, propelling participants towards the initial buoy. Upon reaching the buoy, a sharp right shoulder turn directs them on a thrilling journey northward, culminating at the iconic North Pavilion. Negotiating another buoy with a left shoulder turn, competitors pivot back towards the southern pavilion. The grand finale awaits as they sprint up the beach, striving to clinch victory in this exhilarating race.
